Analytics & cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, rough location (country/city), device type, and how visitors arrive. GA4 sets first-party cookies and processes this data through Google acting as a processor. I use it only to learn which content is useful — not to identify you personally, and never for advertising or cross-site retargeting.
There is no login and no account. If you'd prefer not to be measured, use your browser's tracking protection, an analytics/ad blocker, or Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. This site does not run advertising or cross-site retargeting.
What I collect, and only when you send it
The single place data is collected is the contact form. When you submit it, you send me your name, email address, and your message. That's it. I use it for one purpose: to read and reply to your enquiry. I do not add you to a newsletter, an auto-DM sequence, or a CRM.
Third parties involved in running the site
- Google Analytics 4 (Google) — measures aggregate site traffic via first-party cookies and usage data, with Google as a processor.
- FormSubmit — delivers contact-form submissions to my email inbox. Your form data passes through their service in transit.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site; your browser requests them, which can expose your IP address to Google as part of a normal font request.
- GitHub Pages & Fastly (CDN) — host and serve the static files; like any web host they keep standard server access logs (e.g. IP, timestamp, requested file) for security and operations.
I do not control these providers' own practices; each operates under its own privacy terms.
What I never do
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. I do not share it except as needed to reply to you or where legally required.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry emails for as long as they're useful to our correspondence or a resulting engagement, then delete them. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal data you've sent me. Email dev@try-n.com and I'll action it promptly.
Children
This site isn't directed at children and I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
